In the spirit world, Tung had followed his body to the morgue and now stood over his own carcas.
Besides being the deathly grey this realm brought about, the morgue was a haunting place.
Crying came from the cupboards and the hospital itself was haunted by the dead and damned.
It was driving him to insanity slowly but surely.
In the real world, a doctor opened the locked door to the morgue and set his tools on the table.
The unnamed corpse was due a postmortem and they needed to discover exactly what killed him.
Picking up a scalpel he wearily cut away the jacket crusted in blood. He mumbled details to himself and worked a path to the wound in the carcas' chest.
"strange, teh wound stinks of painkillers, or..." He trailed off. This looked like a butchers work, but butchers dont apply anaesthetic to blades.
Proffesional kill came to mind.
Arrakis watched in horror. His body was about to be cut up and put back together numerous times.
The crying got louder as a woman entered the room covered in burns, and no eyes.
He walked over to her, put a foot behind her and slammed her to the floor. (in a floating way.)
"Be quiet woman!"
Turning back the doctor had already begun scraping the flakes of blood from his hair and putting the into a little container.
He got lower until he reached the eyes.
Now, most parts of the body can reconnect over time, but the eyes are gone when they've been disconnected without something to force this. If he was going to rise again he'd need his eyes.
With all of his dead energy he screamed a deathly scream.
It echoed into the room and the doctor fled dropping everything he was doing.
The eye hit the floor, scalpel drove straight down the middle.
Too late.
